At Dazzler San Isidro, we are committed to providing an exceptional experience for our guests. Therefore, we have established the following Guarantee Policy for additional charges and/or damages to hotel property.
By confirming a reservation through any of the hotel’s channels, the reservation holder agrees to the conditions and procedures outlined below:
This policy applies to all national and international guests who make a reservation and check in at the hotel.
These policies aim to facilitate extra charges to the room for guests and serve as an advance security measure in case of any property damage.
Pre-authorization: A retained charge applied to the guest’s credit card. It serves as collateral or a guarantee and does not necessarily imply an immediate charge. Instead, it functions as a held amount, which may appear in the card’s transaction history but is not charged by the hotel until check-out.

Upon check-in, a valid credit card will be required, and a pre-authorization of at least $50 USD will be applied as a guarantee to cover possible additional expenses, such as extra charges or potential accidental or non-accidental damage to the hotel’s infrastructure, linens, and public areas during the guest’s stay.
The guarantee can only be secured with a credit card; therefore, the guest must present a valid credit card at check-in. Debit cards or cash are not accepted.
The credit card provided must belong to the guest. Credit cards belonging to third parties are not accepted.
The pre-authorized amount is temporarily held on the credit card. The amount may vary depending on the length of stay and the services requested.
This hold is not a final charge but rather a reserved amount that will be released at check-out once it is confirmed that there are no outstanding charges.
If there are no additional charges, the pre-authorization will be released following the procedure outlined in section (h).
If there are outstanding charges at check-out, the guest may choose to pay using another payment method. This is the only way to release the held balance on the credit card.
To release the pre-authorization hold, if the guest has no additional charges or chooses to pay with another method, a minimum confirmation charge of $1 USD must be processed and then immediately voided using the physical credit card. This fully releases the guarantee from the hotel’s side.
A pending transaction may appear on the guest’s credit card due to the pre-authorization. Once verified and released, it may take between 72 hours and 40 business days to reflect in the guest’s credit card balance, depending on the bank’s policies or billing cycle.
